Burnhaven School – A Haven where Futures Begin

Burnhaven Primary School is situated in the north-east coastal town of Peterhead, approximately 30 miles from Aberdeen. It serves the catchment zone of the southwest of the town and the surrounding rural area.  The pupils are currently organised into 2 classes. The school has 2 Teaching staff and the Head Teacher. The school also works closely with a range of other support agencies and volunteers in order to provide the best possible experience for all children. Burnhaven School provides education for children aged 5 – 12, from P1 - P7 .  On leaving Burnhaven Primary School the majority of pupils transfer to Peterhead Academy.  Community links are a valued part of school life.  The school has a very active and supportive Parent Council and Fundraising group who encourage parental involvement in the work of the school; supporting school improvement activities and raising additional funds to provide many extras for the pupils in the school.
